Drawing on an original transnational survey of young urban professionals in the United States and six major Latin American economies, the study traces how intergenerational housing trajectories are being reconfigured by financialized housing, labor-market precarity, and uneven access to family wealth within middle-income groups—reshaping expectations of adulthood, security, and social mobility.
