Leticia Palazzi Perez is a geographer and specialist in remote sensing. She has a Master of Engineering from the University of São Paulo, where she also earned a doctorate in physical geography. She is a visiting professor in the Department of Architecture and Urbanism at the Federal University of Paraíba, and a collaborative author for the Fourth National Communication to The United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). Her teaching and research focus on socioenvironmental vulnerability and urban planning for emergent climate conditions, through the use of geocomputational tools.
